Questions, answered

What StoreGlint does—and what it doesn't.

A transparent look at the boundaries behind every report.

What does StoreGlint analyze?

Public Shopify storefront resources available to an ordinary anonymous visitor, including sitemaps, product pages, catalog data and frontend signals.

Is StoreGlint a vulnerability scanner?

No. StoreGlint explains publicly discoverable storefront data. It does not exploit vulnerabilities, bypass access controls or describe normal Shopify behavior as a security flaw.

Does it access Shopify Admin or customer data?

No. StoreGlint does not use the Shopify Admin API and does not access customer, order or other private account data.

Can it identify a theme or Shopify Plus?

Sometimes. StoreGlint reports a theme or Shopify Plus only when the public storefront provides meaningful evidence, and labels uncertain signals as estimates rather than facts.

Why is product data available as structured data?

Modern storefronts need structured product, variant and pricing information to render pages and shopping experiences. What appears publicly varies by store and theme.
